Questions and answers

Practical details about manuscripts, templates and credits.

Which manuscript files can I upload?

DOCX and PDF, up to 25 MB. Text PDFs can contain up to 100 pages; scanned documents are limited to 20 pages.

Can I use my own template?

Yes. Upload a Word document, a PDF or up to six images. Review the extracted rules and confirm any missing settings before formatting.

Does the service rewrite my research?

The service applies formatting rules and checks the transferred content. It is not a rewriting service. Adding verified missing DOIs is optional and is recorded in the report.

What does reference verification check?

References are compared with publication records. The report identifies matches, inconsistent details, references not found and checks that could not be completed. References remain in your manuscript.

When is a credit used?

One credit is reserved when formatting starts. It is used when the formatted Word file and report are delivered and the content check passes, even if the report lists corrections or checks for you to complete. If processing fails, the formatted file or report is missing, or content verification fails, the reserved credit is returned. Cancellation before delivery also returns it. Returning a credit does not send a payment back to your bank card.

Will a PDF become fully editable?

Not always. Figures, drawn tables and uncertain scanned text can be kept as images. Review the converted content and the report before accepting the result.

How long are my files available?

Your manuscript, formatted files and detailed report are available privately for up to 24 hours from upload. Requesting Download all files starts a 15-minute retry window, then they are deleted from this service. Individual review downloads do not start this window. You can delete a request sooner. Save your files on your own device.
