How formatting works

You choose the format. The service prepares the files. You review the result.

Choose your format

Select a published template, set your own rules, or upload a Word, PDF or image example. Review extracted template settings before using them.

Add your manuscript

Upload a DOCX or PDF file up to 25 MB. A formatting request uses one credit for one manuscript. Reference checking is optional, and adding missing DOIs is a separate choice.

Review the result

Read the report and inspect the formatted pages, especially equations, tables and figures. PDF conversion can preserve some regions as images; check that content was transferred correctly. The new layout is expected to differ from the original.

Download your files

Your manuscript, formatted files and detailed report are available privately for up to 24 hours from upload. Requesting Download all files starts a 15-minute retry window, then they are deleted from this service. Individual review downloads do not start this window. You can delete a request sooner. Save your files on your own device.
